About CBN Television Ministry
Can you imagine a world without newspapers, radio, television, films or the Internet? Would you like to live like that?
It is almost impossible for anyone to imagine a life without the mass media today.
Modern technology is neither all good nor all bad. It can be both a blessing and a curse. Though at times people are offended by the violence and overt sexual content in the media, yet at a greater degree they have grown accustomed to it too.
We cannot deny that there are good uses of the media too. We depend on the media for all the information we need about what is happening in our society, our country, out in the rest of the world and even for information that affects us in our daily life. The media is an excellent means to reach out to millions of people with positive messages that enhance life. It is also a great way to take the gospel into their lives.
Christian Broadcasting Network India was born with the mission to reach out to the masses in India and give them the Gospel through the means of the mass media, primarily through quality television broadcasts. CBN India is dedicated to reach out to every Indian home with a message of hope and love.
CBN in India began its operation in year 1995 and was incorporated as CBN Multimedia Private Limited under Company’s act, (1956) at Hyderabad, India in year 2000.
