Madhumita is a young lady got married with great expectations, dreams and inexpressible feelings. Only after marriage she understood that it was not a bed of roses. She began to be disturbed, there was no joy, no peace in the house.
Things seemed to turn upside down. One after the other she had two kids, one son and one daughter, this placed more strain in their marriage. She longed for a closer relationship with her husband but things worsened all the more. She began searching for true love, visited many temples but nothing could help her. She was confused where to find true love and peace. She had got married expecting great joy but it was not so.
She was in a dilemma when one of her friends shared about Jesus and gave her a Bible. Desperate as she was Madhumita began reading the Word to find answers to the questions ringing in her mind. She liked reading the Bible as she found many interesting facts which she needed to learn.
In the nights after finishing her work she would move out of the bedroom, so that she would not disturb her husband and read the Bible in another room. One day she was surprised to hear her husband complain that she was disturbing his sleep. She began to realize the power of the Word of God. She understood that while she was reading the Bible in one room God was working in her husband in the other room. She was convinced that God was speaking to her husband and she decided to attend the church.
Attending the church impacted her deeply, her depression began to fade away, her relationship with her husband still needed improvement. She realized true love could be found only with Jesus.
Her journey towards the true love has just begun and she was enjoying every moment of it. It didn’t matter much to her if anyone loved her or not, the love of Jesus was more than enough for her. She says she is more strengthened in the Lord and was never as happy as this before.
