Mother By Manisha Sabharwal
I love you the most my mother
More than my sister or brother
I need you everywhere
You always help me and take care
You wash the clothes and sweep the floor
And when I am sick you help me to cure
You always tell not to watch more television
As it leaves with such a poor vision.
When I was small you pushed me to school
And taught me each and every rule.
You suggest me the haircut which is right
And tells me the time to sleep at night
In the race I stood last
But you encouraged me by saying to be faster
Cooks food with the help of spice
Noodles and all things nice.
Rainy Day By Aditi Gupta
I really love a rainy day
Little puddles in the streets
And raindrop bumping on my nose
And splashy splashy feet
I wish I a were little duck
That didn’t wear a mac
I’d like to feel the raindrop run,
All down my father feather back
‘I really love a rainy day!’
Mistake By Sneha V.
When a scientist makes a mistake
It’s a new invention.
When a cook makes a mistake,
It’s a new dish.
When a tailor makes a mistake,
It’s a new fashion.
When a doctor makes a mistake,
It’s a new disease.
When a teacher makes a mistake,
It’s a new subject.
But when a student makes a mistake,
Atlas! It’s a BIG ZERO
