This is one statement made by many of us, we tend to be so busy that we find all sorts of excuses in life. We have time to everything, time to watch TV, time to play cricket, time to roam around but when it comes to God we give all excuses.There are surely thousands of excuses and reasons why we don’t have time for God. There are assuredly also thousands of missed chances, because we run blind through life – that is to say we let ourselves be driven from one station to the next. We might say, ‘I am too young in order to believe in God’ or ‘Too much in love to believe in God’ or ‘Too busy to believe in God’ and finally the day would come when it would be ‘Too late!Yes, I get reminded of a teenaged girl, who was very talented. She led her life according to her own desires and never bothered about anyone. She never even thought of spending time with God. Her mother kept asking her to take out some time for God, check herself and straighten her path. The girl kept postponing, she would tell her mother, ‘Mumma tomorrow I would surely correct myself and become a good girl, I would spend my quality time with God’. Tomorrow never came in the girls life, but her mother still remained persistent. She kept cautioning her daughter, unable to bear the mental pressure, one day the girl said, ‘ok mumma let me go out and enjoy myself, when I come back in the evening I would change my ways’. Saying so, this girl wore the best of her dress, put on her best shoes and walked down the road.As this girl was walking the road with her friends, a speeding truck came and hit this group of friends. The accident was so severe that the girl died on the spot, without any second chance. The girl did decide of giving her life to God, but she had delayed. Many times we take God for granted, we feel lets enjoy our lives and then at the end we can think of God. But dear friends, no one knows when our end would come. God has created each of us and want us to recognize Him in our lives. Lets not take Him for granted.
